Damap meets Art

A major exhibition tribute, in the picturesque setting of Villa Montevecchio, remember, a hundred years after his birth, the sculptor of Samarate Joseph Banda. Artist of great quality who devoted his life to art making some of the important landmarks of the city such as the fountain in the town hall square. His are also reliefs dell'Aloisianum Gallarate and masks of the old facade of the theater block, always in Gallarate. The exhibition is sponsored by Cerapersa with the support of the City of Samarate, the Community Foundation of Varese Onlus Foundation Montevecchio Institute Gadda Rosselli. The project consists of a main event consists of an exhibition of works by the artist chosen to witness his artistic career and his stylistic research, set up in the Blue Room and the Red Room of Villa Montevecchio, creating intimate and collected with small niches that best enhance the lines of the sculptures and heights such as to leave in any case also filter the light of the beautiful windows of these two rooms.
