Confezioni Damap since 1961
Confezioni Damap was founded in 1961 in Samarate in Varese by a married couple, Dante Borlin and Maria Pia Cattaneo. Starting as small artisan workshop specializing in the production of newborn and toddler's knitted tights, plus ladies and infants' underwear. Over the course of a long evolution, today Confezioni Damap is an important manufacturer of lingerie, nightwear and homewear.
In the 1990s, the founders’ children takeover the running of the company; coinciding with important changes in the market and in the distribution network. The firm focuses on overseas markets.
During this time Confezioni Damap present their own collections at the most important international tradeshows: Paris, Lyon, Düsseldorf, Moscow, New York, Toronto, Hong Kong, Osaka, Beijing, Tokyo and in South America.
